Fighter jets of India, US participate in joint military exercise at West Bengal’s Kalaikunda

The Indian and United States Air Force have been conducting a joint military exercise at Kalaikunda Military Airport in Paschim Medinipur. The exercise, named "Cope India 2023", aims to enhance mutual cooperation and understanding between the two countries' air forces.

On Monday, the sky above the Kalaikunda area of West Midnapore was filled with the thunderous sound of fighter aircraft from both countries, including Tejas, Rafale, Jaguar, and SU-30 MKI from the Indian Air Force, and F-15 from the US Air Force. The aircraft were seen practicing together as part of the joint exercise.

The joint military exercise is an important step in strengthening the relationship between India and the US, especially in the field of defense. It provides an opportunity for the air forces of both countries to exchange expertise, knowledge, and skills, and to improve their interoperability.

During the exercise, American and Indian Air Force personnel were seen making preparations for the flight at Kalaikunda Military Airport. The exercise is expected to continue for several more days, and the sky over the Kalaikunda area is likely to be filled with the thunderous roar of fighter aircraft during this period.
